At Agritenuta Buonanotte, the soul of rural Sicilian tradition comes down to three things: good food, great company, and the simple joy of outdoor life. That is the inspiration behind “A Pinnata”—our dedicated estate space for gathering, relaxing, and sharing a meal.
In local Sicilian dialect, a pinnata was traditionally a rustic wooden canopy built to offer field workers a shaded retreat from the summer sun. We have brought that heritage back to life as a welcoming gathering spot for our guests.
Here, you will find a fully equipped barbecue area perfect for grilling local Madonie specialties, surrounded by the sweet scent of wild Mediterranean herbs and a night sky untainted by light pollution. It is also an ideal spot for a relaxed afternoon bite—pairing regional cured meats and cheeses with a glass of fine Sicilian wine.
After a day spent exploring the trails of the Madonie mountains and taking in the fresh air of San Mauro Castelverde, meeting up at A Pinnata lets you slow down and savor life’s simple pleasures: the warmth of the fire, authentic local flavors, and the unhurried rhythm of nature.
